It has been a while. As my time in China comes to an end life appears to become busier and busier. I guess the longer we stay in a place the more people we get know and opportunities arise.
Those opportunities have included clearing birthdays, new borns, and Chinese New Year celebrations. And a visit to Beijing to spend time with my good friend and ex-colleague Bing Bing; then take a seventeen hour drive to Dali in Yunnan Province. There, is the main story of this blog; a place I could easily find myself living in and where I have had my dear, sweet cat companion, Suki, adopted. For now, I will add photographs and pick up the written story later in the week...cliff hanger :)
